FPSC lists this paper as General Knowledge Paper-I (General Science & Ability).

Paper structure

  • Part-I: 20 marks of MCQs, 30 minutes, attempted on a separate answer book.

How to use these papers

  1. 1

Separate the two halves. Treat the ability questions as a problem bank: number series, distance and shadow problems, area and cost calculations, and network or GPS questions turn up again and again with the values changed.

  2. 2

For the science half, track which topics recur rather than reading a textbook end to end. Environmental questions in particular have grown year on year.

  3. 3

Attempt the MCQ part under its own 30-minute clock. It is a separate answer book and candidates routinely overrun it.
